Halloween Decor

Blow this pic up to see all the details! I'm loving my new Halloween decor *squeal*!  Had my vase from Pottery Barn years ago.  Green hydgrangeas from Restoration Hardware years ago.  Purple glittery flowers from Michaels.  Hanging glittery bat stems at Taipan in Utah.  Vintage candy dish with top from garage sale or estate sale...only 50 cents :)  Score!  Bat up in the corner from Rod Works.  "Spooky" word sign from Taipan a few years ago.

I printed out letters on cardstock, cut in circles and glued/glittered around the edges.  Made a pleated circle underneath out of black and white damask cupcake liners.  Glued on cute scrapbook paper at Hobby Lobby.  Glittered clothespins and glittered spider and bat rings (cut off ring part and hot glue on dried glitter clothespins).  Hang on ribbon!

Glittered ornate dollar frame myself.

Purple glittery broom, witches boot from Rod Works, Black Feather wreath from Michaels with light glitter and ribbon and glitter skull and purple glitter spider from Michaels also.

Purple glitter and blingy skull from Michaels as well.  All my material (sparkly sheer black and orange mesh material and green sparkly mesh ribbon) from Hobby Lobby.  Same for all my candlesticks.

Cute black crow $1 at Dollar Tree, Pumpkins 1/2 off at Michaels last year.  Cute candelabra from home decor store in Dallas for $24.

My "BOO" apothecary/candy jars....love them!  Got the idea from Shanty2Chic. Candlesticks for .50 all three at garage sale.  Round wooden circle 2/$1 at Hobby Lobby.  I already had the jars in my pantry but you can get them at HL as well.  Spray painted the top and glued a wooden dowl (HL or Home Depot or Lowes) super cheap.  Little wooden curlz letter 99 cents each at HL. Tie ribbon bows and hang letters by ribbon, fill with candy and wah lah!

Summertime Bunco Party

I did a whole "Summertime" yellow/green lemon-lime theme in June.  Here's my 4-layer cake.  First time every but it turned out great and was sooo yummy!

I took a lot of ideas from Pinterest and it turned out sooo great!!!

My mantle

We're temporarily renting an older home until we relocate again with my hubby's job. It's a good-sized home so we love it BUT it's older and needs a lot of touch-ups and a lot of great decor! I painted this entire fireplace white for a fresh and clean look. And then here's my mantle for a great "after" look. I love green and black together!  And I made this temple pic for $45 with this Utah company when we used to live there. Sweet!

I love these letters tied together and decoupaged of our family name.  It's just thin wood, holes drilled on all four corners, tied together with thin satin ribbon, decoupaged with scrapbook paper, sponged with the ink around the edges, and then large vinyl letters in different fonts....easy!
